Health Advocacy is the act of supporting people navigating the health system to help them find the best care possible. WASHAA seeks to help people transform from patient to full participant in their care, through awareness, skills training and connection to local resources. We will be gathering people who are interested in Health Advocacy for our second meeting in Spokane, WA. This meeting is free and we hope to include medical providers, patients, patient safety organizations, insurance representatives, educators and health advocates.
